The terrace on a fresh summer morning
To hammock or to hot tub, that is the question
“Hammock” is always a good answer…
…but then, so is “hot tub”.
The balcony is a lovely place to admire the views

The wood-fired sauna has a copper outdoor shower to cool you down
…and has now been tiled with cedar shingles
Summer meadow
We leave most of the garden as natural meadow in summer, to attract the butterflies. We mow a big section in front of the chalet, and paths through the rest of it to the sauna, firepit and gate.
